In December Theresa Blackburn, the owner of agelessNB came to our home and did a article on Andrea and our family. Here is a link to her website to watch a video she did, which is a amazing job by the way!
Hi Andrea & Scott,
I just watched the video, thank you for sharing. You are in our thoughts everyday and I am thankful for this site which allows us to be a part of this journey with you.
Take Care
I just sent a note to the home e-mail advising that all the medical information has been received and I have sent Andrea’s case to our physicians in the US to start the review. I will update you again shortly.
Andrea had a MRI and EEG last Monday (May 30th) and in St John this Friday (June 10th) we will be given the results. I've called twice to be sure they will have them and we can be told the news.
I'm sure praying for some great news because we sure could use it! Andrea has been so strong with her attitude and spirits. It's time for some good news and to kick that sorry tumors butt!
Update: Andrea's in week #4 of her treatments (chemo & radiation) and doing excellent! The hospital is using a brand new machine which attacks the tumor/cells more precisely than the older machine and saves more of the good cells. The doctors are happy with the current results, so this is some GOOD news!
The breakfast benefit on Saturday (Feb. 5th) for Andrea was an amazing success. Thank you to everyone for organizing, giving, donating, attending and for everything else you guys are doing. It's wonderful to see what the power of a great community can do when needed. Thank you very much!
Now that you're all updated, let's have some fun....
Watch this following video and try to tell me this doesn't just make you feel better. Many comments in the guest book & blog mention to "stay positive" and keep smiling. Surrounding yourself with a positive environment is very important and often times overlooked. Also, this "positive attitude" technique isn't to be used ONLY when you are faced with obstacles, but should be something that we do daily. For as long as I've known Andrea, she has always been a positive person to be around and never complains or criticizes. So Andrea, keep it up you're a winner!
Andrea & Scott have had a positive impact in many lives, either in family, friendship, work, school, business, feel free to share some positive stories from the Seeleys in this blog.
Hi Andrea! It was fun seeing you this weekend. Looking good as always. We are so proud of you for fighting this battle. You would fit very well in this video! You and Scott are very inspiring to us both and we are so proud to call you our friends.
Andrea and Scott
It is wonderful to hear that the Dr.'s are pleased with how the treatments are going. So thankful for updated equipment!
I trust that Andrea's parents relax and enjoy the sun; and great to hear that Jen will be with you this next while! Hope the girls enjoy being off school:-)
You are in our prayers and we know your positive attitude will see you through!
Love
Jill

I pray for healing for you and your family and that your life be a strong witness of faith to all you meet.
I am glad that your treatments are going well. It is obvious that Christ is walking and paving the way for you!
Keep your eyes fixed on Him!
In Jesus strong and healing name,

Andrea, you and all your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I am a cousin of Vicki's.I understand what you are going through and will keep you close in my heart.
Please pass this on to anyone who will join us in prayer for our good friend Andrea Seeley.
Andrea has been working hard to have a great attitude and stay strong with the Lord. Her husband Scott and their two beautiful daughters are working together to be supportive and loving during a difficult time. The Seeley's received the news that her brain tumour is a stage 3 tumour and that the doctors will start aggressive treatment ASAP. She is a healthy 36 year old vibrant amazing lady and time is important so they are prioritizing her case and hopefully we will see some great results. Most of you are to far away to help directly so we ask for all your prayers for Andrea and also for Scott and their daughters Kyra and Kaylee. For those of you who may be
able to help during the treatment with meals or even babysitting or anything the Seeleys might need please let us know.
We will be coordinating any resources or help that is offered. Please pray for the Seeleys,
I realize hundreds of people are saying the same thing, but wanted to let you know that we're thinking of you and your family in this very difficult time. Wishing you strength and good health.
My younger brother had Andrea for a teacher for half of this current school year before she got sick. He truly misses her. Our thoughts and prayers will be with Andrea and the Seeley family at this difficult time.

I remember fifteen years ago meeting you for the first time. You were actively involved with the Big Sisters program and took me with you to a kite making event at Connell Park. I thought to myself that day how beautiful, kind, and vibrant you are. As I continued to know you over the years that have since passed you remained to be full of life, loving and vibrant. I can barely imagine what this must be like but I have found much comfort myself in the following quote..." I believe a person has the strength to keep going long after they think they can't". Everyday you are in my prayers along with Scott and the girls. If there is anything I can do please don't hesitate to let me know. Take care and know that you have many people rooting for your recovery. Huge hugs being sent your way!
we all miss you alot at school! you are such a funn and happy person and you were a awsome teacher!! our familys praying for you, and i hope that you have a speedy recovery!! get well soon,
You may not remember me, but I remember you. Quite a few years back, you took my sisters and I to a kite making event located at Connell Park while you were volunteering as a big sister.
That day was so much fun and so special. Even though I am now 27, I carry that "simple" day with such a fond memory. A memory that you provided out of the kindness of your heart.
I remember thinking you were so beautiful and sensational. I wanted to be just like you when I grew up.
I now have a son of my own, I hope that I can be the same type of woman you were for me. Inspirational, kind, and trusting.
You have touched so many lives and continue to do so. Your Husband and girls are so lucky and blessed to have you. But of course they already know that! Your family is in my prayers day and night. You are strong and powerful.
Thinking of you and your family through your difficult times. Our prayers are yours and for your family. Stay strong and feel the love from your family and from God
Andrea and Scott, Know that you and your family have been in our prayers since we heard of your struggle. Also know that your faith and the love of friends and family is a powerful medicine in itself. You have always been a positive and beautiful young woman, Andrea, and you have a whole community praying for your health and happiness.
Dear Scott & Andrea,
We just found out about this truly unfortunate news and our hearts go out to you. You are both such strong and brave people...the kind of people who can get through a battle like this! Please know that you will be in our prayers everyday and that we will be available if there is anything that we can do for you.
Stay strong!!
It is funny how I feel like I have known you and Scott all my life and we have only been friends since Oct. that is only 3 months.
The positive energy that you give to me when we are together is so strong and amazing, I know it is from the Love of God that makes you glow so beautifully.
I have thanked God so many times for Him putting us together to become friends that Tues night at the Open.
I trust and believe with all my heart that God will give you, Scott and your family the strength to get through these next few week ahead.
I am here for you both always. Put your eyes upon the Lord and fill your heart with positive thoughts.
Take one day at a time, one step at a time. God will get you through this.
I love you both,
Katrina xox

Dearest Andrea, Your Mom called yesterday and tolds us the news. We are only a phone call away if you need anything while here in Saint John. You are in our thoughts and prayers and I will come visit as soon as you want. love M&W
Andrea,
Thinking of and praying for you, Scott and the girls. Never lose faith in God as he will give you strength, comfort, and determination throughout this tough time. I would be more than willing to help out with babysitting or preparing a meal for your family. You are a strong lady with an amazing outlook on life, and those qualities in themselves will help you to beat this!!
Father, the Word of God that I have heard and confess is the power of God unto my salvation. I confess Jesus Christ as Lord over my life, spirit, soul and body. I receive the power of God to make me whole, sound delivered, saved and healed now. I act on the Word of God and receive His power.
Sickness, disease and pain, I resist you in the Name of Jesus. You are not the will of God for me. I enforce the Word of God on you. I will not tolerate you in my life. Leave my presence! I will never allow you back.
I have been healed and made sound. Jesus made me whole. My days of sickness and disease are over. I am the saved. I am the healed. The power of sickness over my life has been forever broken. Jesus bore my sickness. Jesus bore my weakness. Jesus bore my pain...and I am free.
No sickness, sin, fear or evil addiction shall lord it over any longer. I have been redeemed from the curse and I receive the blessing. I am made whole in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
I fought throat cancer Andrea and in saying this prayer daily during the fight, our merciful Father heard this prayer. I have been cancer free for 3 years and continue to say this prayer daily. It is an excerpt from "Gloria Copeland's, Healing confessions". She also fought cancer through His word.
It occurred to me that I should have introduced myself after sending the prayer for you.
Bruce and Jen Graham are part of our church family at Caledonia Baptist Church in Caledonia Ontario and although we've never met you and your family, you are in my heart in our prayers.

Scott, Andrea and your beautiful little girls,
We just heard the news today and wanted to let you all know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. You have both been such an inspiration to so many people over the years! Each time we see pictures of you, we are filled with many wonderful memories of times we have shared. Stay strong! Love Always Jess, Gary and Family
Andrea, You are the kindest, strongest and most vibrant person I have met in a very long time. Be positive, as always, and keep strong. You, Scott and the girls are in my thoughts and prays.
Wendy
Andrea, Scott, Kyra and Kaylee:Our positive thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Keep smiling and know there are alot of people praying for you. The WMS cafeteria girls!
Brad, Tianna and I were at Andrea's breakfast this morning and what a beautiful sight...the line up was still wound around the inside of the church and out the door at 9:20. What a show of support for Andrea! Though it was held at the United church, there were people from all denominations helping out with everything! I have never seen the kitchen as full of volunteers going straight out as I did this morning. I'm very proud of our community, though we all really wish there was no need to have this breakfast :-) We love you Andrea, Scott, Kaylee and Kyra. You are certainly not alone...
Do you remember when I used to come over to your place and we would have horse shows... putting bows and such in your horse's mane and tail?
I know we haven't spoken much over the past few years (even though we are neighbours now !!), but I want you to know that my family and I are praying for you. I am currently doing a Bible Study by Charles Stanley called.. Feeling Secure in a Troubled World and I am learning so much.( We get together every Thursday morning and always pray for you) It is easy to say to someone that God loves you and wants only the best for you... living it is another thing.
Remember these: !. NO problem has the power to tear us from the grasp of Christ 2. No difficulty can do more harm than Christ can remedy. 3. No trial can destroy our salvation 4. No pain or heartache is too great for Christ to heal.
Trials bring us closer to God so my prayer for you is that your relationship with the ONE who loves you more than you can imagine, will grow more and more every day!!I pray your faith with strengthen and your peace will go deeper as well.
Hi Andrea, Just a little note to let you know you are in my thoughts daily. As your treatment progresses I think it's important for you to know that people have you in their prayers each and every day. Craig and Tara enjoyed having your little one with them for supper last week. It's now Wednesday so just two more days and you'll be back with your family.
I just watched the video, thank you for sharing. You are in our thoughts everyday and I am thankful for this site which allows us to be a part of this journey with you.
